The Township of Montague is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Planner. There is potential for this to be a shared position with the Township of Merrickville-Wolford.

The Planner will be responsible for providing advice to the Municipal Manager and Council with respect to the orderly growth and development of the municipality in accordance with the Planning Act, Provincial Planning Statement and documents approved thereunder; policy formulation and implementation; management, direction and supervision of the Planning Department including the functional areas of Planning and Heritage.

The successful candidate will have a university degree in Land Use Planning or related field, membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners/Ontario Professional Planners Institute and be a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) in good standing.
