The Finance/Treasury Department is responsible for the handling of the financial affairs of the Township and ensuring the overall financial well-being of the Township of Montague.
Budget
The Municipality passes an annual budget that consists of two parts, an operating budget, including all the expenditures required to deliver day-to-day Municipal services and the expected revenue (user fees, permits, etc.) and a capital budget which includes one-time expenditures for new or existing major projects or infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, bridges, etc.).
