Create an account for the online permit system and apply for a burn permit by August 1, 2025 to be entered into a draw to win a Township Swag Bag! Winner will be announced on August 5, 2025.

All permits will now be accessed online through the portal. If you have an existing burn permit from the Township, you must create an account and reapply for a permit online. Permits expire on December 31st annually, and can be renewed via the online portal. If you only plan to have small campfires under 30" x 30", you can apply for a residential permit (that does not need to be activated each time you burn), but for larger fires, you must have an open-air permit that must be activated any time you plan to burn. Once you have registered for an online account and have obtained a permit, you no longer need to contact the Township Office when you plan to burn.
