Load Restrictions In Effect - February 27, 2024
Effective February 27, 2024, reduced load restrictions will be in place throughout the Township!
Please take note that transporting anything over five (5) tonnes per axle is an offense under Section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act. The reduced load period is necessary to protect all Township roads, which are susceptible to damage from the spring thaw.
Under Lanark County's jurisdiction, County Road 43 is exempt from these restrictions. When the likelihood of damage is diminished, the restriction will be lifted.
