Sparky wanted to hop on today and give a GREAT BIG THUMBS UP to all of the firefighters around the world who help to make our communities safer! May 4th is recognized each year as International Fire Fighters' Day, and here in Montague, we have some of the best there is. From dedicating long hours fighting fires, to completing education courses and training, as well as always being willing to volunteer their time for community events; we are SO LUCKY to have such a great team here. Their families deserve a thank you as well, for enduring just as many challenges alongside our members. It may not seem like a lot, but without the help of these families, our firefighters couldn't make the difference that they do on a daily basis. Simply saying "thank you" will never be enough to express how grateful we are for your service!
